
Had to do the reading glass thing myself, last year. First for reading itty bitty lettering, more recently for more general duty involving computers, receipts, etc.
Old age is not for the weak.

+1 on the stairs. My first pair of bifocals were progressive, and the first day I took a header down some stairs. I eventually decided I didn't care for progressives (or no-line), and went with the old fashioned two power bifocals.MarkD wrote: Bifocals in general require a few adjustments, mostly involving stairs.
