Obviously because they WANT you to be shot.
no, no, no... they don't want you to be shot. Don't be silly.

They want you to DIE cleanly when you ARE shot.

I always carry my 11.5" AR with me when I go to the mall. (I take it bear hunting as well). I carry 2 Glock 18's in a dual shoulder rig. The .44 Desert Eagle rides my right hip and I have boot knives taped to each wrist and ankle.

First off, if you don't allow scripts to run, or use Flash, you can't see of read the mall rules in the first place. I would argue that's not ADA compliant.

COOL, so they allow soliciting as long as the girls have prior written approval from management!

Hmmmm, guns are banned 'ON' the premises, but it doesn't say anything about 'IN' the premises.

Make sure you put all your fireworks in a box labeled "Signaling Devices."

No strollers or wheelchairs are allowed on the escalators - use a shopping cart instead.

Whoever wrote all that stuff up didn't bother to proofread it or have anyone else take a look at it. There's statements like (Mall Cops: Mall of America box that you have to use the arrow-down button to read it):
From escorting celebrities to reuniting lost children with their parents to responding to medical emergencies security officers at Mall of America go through training so rigorous it surpasses training required by some municipal police forces.
In the box directly above that one (labeled: Mall security), Here's a real intelligent incomplete statement:
Each year, Mall of America Security Officers respond to thousands of calls for service ranging from emergency situations, lost children and celebrity appearances.
to....... what else?

Don't forget the group photo of these hardened veterans from their security recruitment flier:

POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I've been there - KoP is a better mall.. More retail space, and no ridiculous indoor amusement park.

Saw about 5 minutes worth. WTF is up with those quasi-military ribbon racks? Another self-esteem builder for folks that don't have any actual accomplishments?
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

I was just going to ask the same thing. Even "Mall Vice" gets ribbons? I'm reminded of a certain clip from that Blaxploitation classic I'm Gonna Git You Sucka

Not legally. In Minnesota, landlords are not allowed to ban guns for their tenants. If you carry there and get caught, you'll get a visit from security and kicked out, but there's no real penalty.

Quite a few years ago I was in the Staten Island Mall (hey HTRN, you know that place? ) It was crowded, around Christmas time, I saw a couple of NYPD cops coming to me thru the crowd, could only see their heads and shoulders. When they got closer I saw they were carrying a 12 gauge. I decided to go the other way.
