Monsters Are Real by Moose42
Monsters Are Real, yes they are! I've seen one!

Years from now our children and grandchildren living in a 3rd world America will ask "What were you doing on March 21st 2010 and why didn't you stop it?"

Very cool Moose. Is Chris male or female though? You mentioned that the character had a pocket book...

Male, I figured it was obvious, but since I didn't describe him much maybe that could be confusing. I figured not too many women would work in a slaughterhouse stunning cattle.

Monsters Are Real Chapter 2 is up.
I've made one minor but important change in chapter one. Kim didn't lose her job, she says she's on annual leave instead.

Kimberly stepped out onto the front porch in a pink nightgown, “I had some annual leave built up so I figured I’d ditch Alabama and crash here for a while.”

Is this set in the MHI universe? It sounds like it could be. Maybe OSS is a competitor to MHI?

Whoops. I re-read it and now that makes much more sense. I've met quite a few females that I could see working in a slaughterhouse though. They don't look so female....moose42 wrote:Male, I figured it was obvious, but since I didn't describe him much maybe that could be confusing. I specifically made Kim his sister so I wouldn't have to worry about a love interest. He did notice though...
