Male, I figured it was obvious, but since I didn't describe him much maybe that could be confusing. I figured not too many women would work in a slaughterhouse stunning cattle.

I've made one minor but important change in chapter one. Kim didn't lose her job, she says she's on annual leave instead.

Whoops. I re-read it and now that makes much more sense. I've met quite a few females that I could see working in a slaughterhouse though. They don't look so female....
