Looky at what I found ...

... I went to the Yavapai Friends of the NRA dinner on Sat. They were selling knives at the door with some cheesy prizes and so after signing in I bought a knife for a 20 spot and sat down. It was a pretty nice knife and I like the jungle camo boony hat that I 'won'. Just about as I asked those sitting at the table with me what this ticket on the back was for, they announced the drawing. So, I won a ...

And today I got to pick it up. So, I took it to the range (I guess I am gona keep it) and boy does it have a HELL of a kick. I was all over that target. Prolly would have hit 5 of 7 shots when aiming center mass at 7 yards. As I was paying up a fellow named Mat asked me how it shot and I told him that I honestly wasn't a good enough shot to say, but if he would like to fire a couple of mag's he was welcome to. He did and showed me how to target shoot (that makes a big difference two close shots and a third that was only three in off.) Turns out he's going to be the guy teaching my concealed carry course as well.

So, all told, I'll keep it. It's too damn cute to get rid of. And besides, the envy factor is just ridiculous fun.

No, I am dead broke right now and as I expect to be in the Guard shortly, I don't think I need to worry about learning how to be an Expert Rifleman. Would have been nice, but that lack of cheddar ...

I have a small pocket holster for it now. It's not perfect, but it was cheap and it does the job.

Nice, if the trigger is anything like my KT P3AT it's easy to stage the trigger for far shots:

Pull the trigger back halfway, clean up your sight picture, pull trigger the rest of the way. I can easily keep all shots in the center zone of a silhouette target at 25 yards this way.

desantis is $22 and will serve you much better than what you have now...

the concern is that in the one you have now, the trigger guard isnt completely covered...

Good Fortune!
I hope you never HAVE to use it, and if you do I hope it functions perfectly.
