I think I almost lost my man card while writing this chapter.

Can I get a roll call of people who are reading this? I am just curious. Thanks.

Without you guys I wouldn't have started or continued writing.
Yep, still here, good work so far...

Still here & enjoying the story.
My favorite story of his ended with "...and so he went out the back door in his bathrobe, flipped the AK to 'Afrikaner', and started hosing the baboons off his tennis court." - Tam

Man card or no man card, this was my favorite chapter yet as far as the story and characters were concerned. Loved it. I don't know about anyone else, but I get psyched when I see new chapters posted. I suspect there are more leaches like me enjoying your work without posting much feedback.

Thanks. I was curious because I was getting a bunch of hits on the Blog but silence here. Thanks for reading. I am glad that you get psyched to read my amateur work of fiction. I would really like to go somewhere with this work but even if I don't the journey will be worth it. Oh and the fact that I have fans that salivate every time I post "Chapter ## is up."

I don't know the first thing about how someone goes anywhere as an author, but your writing has certainly improved a ton since the first chapters of MH:MB.

Thanks, I just hope it was better than this...

I really think that MH:MB was a good sandbox for me to plan in and get some practice writing so I could move on to my own new stories. Thanks Larry Correia.

I think Jerry Pournelle summed it up like this.
...the secret of success in becoming a writer is you must write; you must finish what you write; and you must write a lot more.
Oh chapter updates... Umm I have 2 paragraphs of Chapter 19 written. I can't promise anything this week being Christmas and all, But I will try.

Chapter 19

Well guys here you go. It is a bit short so I might add on to it later but I'm not sure yet.
We meet some more people and aliens. Enjoy.

It's quite good. It's hard to come up with much to say about it, except that I look forward to each new chapter.
