New holster

Post by Rod »

Ordered an Invisible Agentholster from DeSantis. It's an iwb skeleton rig that works for most large frame semi-autos. This is the first holster that seems to keep the butt down fairly far. Tried it with my new Ruger P944 .40 cal and with the full-size SA 1911.

Two thoughts stood out. First, it's fairly difficult to put the holster on. I had to take the gun out, loosen my belt, put the spring clip over my pants, then seat the belt in the clip. I then found the second problem, it's hard to reholster your pistol.

It's actually pretty comfortable and I could probably wear it longer than other of my iwb holsters. It also prints less than other holsters. Drawing from it is not bad, and it's pretty versatile in the number of guns it can hold.

Reserving judgement on it for a while then I'll report more at a later date.

Good acting requires an imagination; reality requires a person not getting lost in their imagination.
