My dad and my paternal grandparents immigrated from Greece. My Greek cousins (kinda hard to even hyphenate them) live in an insular world. Kinda weird to me. My mom is pure American. Yes, my brother and I have religious issues over this.

Hyphenating is not a good thing for those who are born here.
