So, who would play you in the movie version?

Everything cultural, pop or otherwise. Books, movies, music, comics, poetry, random cultural geekery.

Unfortunately I look like Chevy Chase, although, I would prefer Tom Sellek he is better looking and his attitude toward life seems similar.

Don't forget "modest", though :-)

For me, maybe John Belushi, if he weren't dead, and could do an Irish accent.

The guy in the combat jacket in this clip. I don't think I look like him but everyone else does.
Apparently I have the same mannerisms as the character and I do agree we have the same accent.
One of my mates even bought me the DVD of the movie as a joke.
After it was shown on TV I'd get people walking up to me and saying " Dead Mans Shoes ? "

The movie was filmed really near here, I recognise 99% of the locations.

Dan Akroyd if he was about 20 years younger

Personality? I dunno. Looks? Brendan Fraser.
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

I've been told I look like a younger Steve Jobs, so perhaps Ashton Kutcher.

If I grow a pony tail, people keep asking me for Steven Seagal's autograph.

After due consideration, and seeing the following pics of yours truly:

I can only conclude that Hollywood would have to resort to special effects to portray me, and I'm thinking Gollum, from Lord of the Rings...............

Cheers, my precious - Rusty

PS I tried to put the requisite picture here, but couldn't get any to attatch......Ho Hum

You guys

We play each other! Or maybe ourselves.

You know...Our Epic Heroes, having become disgusted with the barbarism that has engulfed the Earth, hole up in their mountain retreat. And are besieged by the Savage Welfare Hordes.

Their response? A Wonder of Science and Reason...a faster-than-light starship.

Whether we use it to flee the Earth, or use it to smite the Savage Hordes with rocks dropped from Unreasonable Heights....well, that would be telling. :D
