Try the Crossbreed holster. Aglifter, FastRope and myself all use them (that I know of, you other guys chime in), and it really helps. I could never IWB an auto before that, and I am average size all around (and getting skinnier). I usually go for a CCO or Commander in 1911 though, just lighter. A full sized does get the nod sometimes and works just fine.

What is the specific problem you are having?
Do your pants hang low, does the gun wobble to and fro, does it tie you up in knots, or are you spotted by your bro's?
What gun/s are you trying to conceal? Double stack 45? single stack 9mm?
What sort of ddress code are you trying to conceal with?
As CC noted, many of us use the crossbreed, and the similar C-tac. They work very well. I can adjust the position on my belt, tuck in my shirt, and go all day forgetting it is there until my man-purse/tool bag catches the grip and gives it a nudge.
Before you run out and place an order for one, answer my questions and let's get some good discussion and troubleshooting done.

If you are unwilling to give another man freedom in his life, do not expect to have it in your own.

Do you have links handy for those not familiar with these holsters?FastRope71 wrote:As CC noted, many of us use the crossbreed, and the similar C-tac.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

You don't specify which full size auto, Desert Eagle?
How about these for the Glocks and 1911's

I've been pretty happy with mine.

I carry a P-245 IWB with a cross breed.
Heavier pants work better than light pants (fabric weight), but I have never had anybody look cross eyed at me when out and about.
All above advice about pants size and so forth true. And I have more than a little extra girth (5'11" 290 lbs) 42 in waist.

It's in 45 Colt, with a 4 3/4" Bbl. I have it in one of those cheap Uncle Mike's "Sidekick" Size 5. Truth be told, I should just buy a new holster for it in a size 6 or something since the old one is getting a bit worn. Also it tends to work it's way up when I'm moving around, though a quick and slight adjustment with my elbow pushes it back into place.blackeagle603 wrote:Mud Dog,

Not the best of ideas I'll admit, but it's about to go into retirement from Concealed Carry since I just put my new CC peice on layaway...(more to come when I have it in my hands).

Re: IWB carry of a full sized auto.
The only full-size autos I can carry IWB are the 1911 and BHP. SIG, HK, Beretta and most of the Glocks are too thick. Glock 17/19 is tolerable, but still thicker than the 1911 and BHP.
