CCW...On You Or Just Near You?

Post by skb12172 »

Let's talk about our preferred method of CCW. Some insist that the weapon must be on your person. Others prefer a larger caliber than is comfortable with regular CCW and compromise by carrying in a briefcase or backpack.

What is your most common choice and why?
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

I keep two .45s on me at all times. When I have the money, I might put a few long guns in the cars, the problem being that work takes the wifey and I on base pretty much every day.

Doesn't it kinda' strike you as an oxymoron that the military has a fit about people having guns and other weapons on their facilities? Then you hear the idiot liberals saying shit like: "If you want to shoot .50 caliber guns, join the military!" Like if you get to do that at YOUR leisure just because you join the military.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Really Mike, have you ever known a liberal make a logical statement regarding firearms? ;)

Sure - when they say things like; "guns are scary when pointed at you!" What's amazing to me is how so many people in the military can be so anti-gun (forget the Wesley Clark weasels...., think rank-and-file troops).

Yeah, we get a few anti-gunners, but they definitely in the minority.

And yes, it does piss me off that I can't carry on base. There's certainly nothing stopping the assholes from acting up with gun in hand*, all it does is disarm the rest of us.

*We had a pissed off E-4 trying to shoot his ex because she had the gall to dump him.

CCW, Always on me.
Might be a .45, may be a 9mm but there's always something.
Near me at the moment, a .308, a .223 and 2- 12ga's.
Wearing 2- .45's, one concealed and one in a belt rig but I'm working so that's a given.
