Burglar Killed by Pitbull

Post by 308Mike »

WARNING - GRAPHIC PHOTOS at link.

Apparently this happened in 2008 according to the date stamps on the entry:
http://www.zoopedup.com/blogs/read.aspx?id=3437

Which I had first run across at Ernie's (NSFW site). Ernie opted to host the pics to cut down on the swamp of bandwidth to the original site once everyone saw the pics and flooded the site with hits.

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

The steps JAG2955 would take upon seeing that scene in his house:

1. Grabs the 1911, just in case there's another goblin.
2. Gives dog a biscuit.
3. Calls carpet cleaners, makes appointment for tomorrow.
4. Calls police, tells them to hurry.
5. Orders a pizza
6. Looks at the goblin again, decides pizza is a bad idea.
7. Orders Chinese.
8. Pets dog, does first aid. Police arrive 30 minutes later.

Did I miss anything?

Hope the dog didn't have any complications from that gash on his head.

Yes...

9. Have attorney (on retainer) send carpet cleaning and vet's bills to the estate of the disceased goblin. Have attorney add attorney's feels to the bill, inflated by an amount to cover dog biscuit, pizza and Chinese.

I didn't actually laugh, more like that knowing chuckle of "Darwin got another one".

Yup - good dog. I expect, though, that in most places he'd end up siezed and put down, even though he was just doing his job...

I would post laminated pictures of the guy with my beware of dog signs. Perhaps a disclaimer.

If you look closely, it appears to be a human bite - you can see puncture wounds in a semi-circular pattern curved in the opposite direction from the one below.
