If you are unwilling to give another man freedom in his life, do not expect to have it in your own.
It surely beats trying to figure out what the metrosexuals want ( a good hard kick in the nuts in my opinion, but that won't sell ice cream :D )- Highspeed

Re: One. Word. Where have you been?
Outside of the US, it boils down to two places:
Places I Want to Visit Again, But Can't For Financial Reasons (Singapore, Italy, and Japan)
and
Places Where I Don't Want to Visit Again, Regardless of Pay or Circumstances (Saudi Arabia)
And that's about it.

Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

There are at least six major tour companies that I know of that have 1,2 or 3 week charters and hotel packages there...CByrneIV wrote:Well, for one we are a little light on Marines, and Navy is probably in third place behind Army and Air Force.Chase wrote:I have to confess myself a little surprised at the amount of ex military on this board who haven't been to Cuba. :?:
Second, it only counts if you've actually spent some time in the country; and gitmo technically is not legally part of Cuba.
I've been twice...super beaches, great people, excellent rum and cigars (I smoked then), beautiful woman, wonderful food, unique music and damn cheap and ruled by a loved dictator...
The people I talked with told me that it is either a love/hate thing with Fidel and most people think he's done a good, not great, job...The thing is, those that hated him were sent to the USA so most people remaining, at least to outward appearance, like him!
I've been many times to Little Havana in Miami as I love the food and the music and the woman ain't bad either!
There is a certain type of mentality that thinks if you make certain inanimate objects illegal their criminal misuse will disappear!

Are you single? If so, you should have fun... (In my limited experience, Slovakian/Slovenian women are quite fun, and attractive...)Wrenchbender1 wrote: Slovakia

Re: One. Word. Where have you been?
I'll chime in, but I doubt the list will be complete. I haven't kept up with which countries became what etc.
Texas
Mexico
Cananda
U.K. (as well as Whales, Scotland, and Ireland)
France
Italy
Austria
Germany
Spain
Portugal
Greece
Croatia
Switzerland
Sweden
Norway
Denmark
Iceland
Russia
Bahrain
U.A.E.
Saudi Arabia
Iraq
Egypt
Israel
Afghanistan
Guinea
South Africa
(possibly other African countries, not likely but possible)
Japan
Taiwan
Hong Kong
China
South Korea
Thailand
Indonesia
Singapore
Philippines
Guam
Chile
Peru
Brazil
Argentina
Venezuela
That seems about right. Some I remember vividly, but trying to remember all the port calls...well, it's not so easy.
