We have started to have more instances of the mobile meth labs according to the Jacksonville Rescue Squad. Apparently they have to wait for HAZMAT if they suspect meth in a vehicle.

I've heard a lot about the meth production in rural areas, but I never heard anything about it back home in PA. I suspect it's because meth heads are shot on sight in the woods because "They were scarin' the deer!"

I'm in a rural county of about 80k people. And there are meth problems here, plenty of them. Mostly the meth heads wind up getting caught stealing from houses. And it seems regularly someone is having a problem with their mail being stolen, and they often figure they know who it is and need their mail held at the post office until that person "goes away."

When I first moved here in 07, I read in a newspaper about how some 2000 meth labs had been busted in Arkansas in the previous year. That has dropped quite a bit since then.

One benefit of this new method. It increases the likelyhood of a screwup killing the cooker and improving the gene pool.


About the allergies. I take a claratin daily or I have a mild headache all day even though the allergy shots are helping with that, used to feel a lot worse when I skipped the pills. But even so, I have to change the air filters regular, clean sheets and so forth too. And I find that now and then when it starts getting to me more than usual if I take the pillows, not the cases but the pillows themselves, and throw em in the washing machine and dryer, that fixes it.

Id' REALLY recommend trying the UV wand cleaners for your pillows and pillow-cases.

It's made a significant difference in our house (for the better)!!

I swear to god, if I am driving down the road one day and the roof of the 30 year old POS in front of me flies off in a cloud of meth vapor... im probably going to laugh my ass off...

It will probably kill me, if I ever see it, but it will take the undertaker a week to get the ear-to-ear grin off my face!

If you're having sinus problems, you shouldn't take antihistamines because they dry you out, setting you up for sinus infections. Try taking a pure decongestant like guaifenisin and drink plenty of water. Also try saline nasal irrigation, it's made a world of difference for me.

+1 on the saline nasal irrigation. Until I got down into moldy swamp-ass area of south Georgia, I could irrigate once a day with salt water that I mixed myself and it took care of all of my sinus problems. The HVAC here just kills my sinuses though. It sucks.
