Where to get an upper?

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

Where to get an upper?

Post by mekender »

Looks like I am finally going to be able to complete the build that I have been putting off for so long...

So, does what places are out there to get an upper for a reasonable price?

I am thinking that I just want a 16" M-4 upper... No rails or fancy gas block, just a standard upper.

I also dont want to wait 6 months for one, if it comes down to that, ill just get a Spikes... But I would rather not pay that much.

Thoughts?

Hard to beat prices at Del-Ton. Have you checked there for availability? link

they are quoting 12-16 weeks...

used to be they were hard to beat and you could just hit up a local gun show for em... but to wait that long AND pay sales tax, no thanks...

My dentist does a great job, the teeth don't slip or slide and he makes sure they fit.....................Oh. You mean rifle uppers.

Ultra-cheap is Model 1 Sales...

If you want one right this second, go with one in stock from RifleGear. They have MULTIPLE basic CMMG uppers right now (one of the best manufacturers IMHO), all in stock.
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

Just received one from M A parts, seems to be very nicely done.
