Monster Hunter International
Just picked it up from Border's and started reading.
My favorite story of his ended with "...and so he went out the back door in his bathrobe, flipped the AK to 'Afrikaner', and started hosing the baboons off his tennis court." - Tam

Re: Monster Hunter International
For those not familiar, here's a repeat of my post from the Re: Need More Sci Fi Book Suggestions thread:
He also has MHI patches available againMonster Hunter International by Larry Correia of the Monster Hunter Nation came out in the stores and on Amazon this week.
Larry is the guy that wrote the classic H&K, because you suck and we hate you
I read the first chapter online some time ago and am saving the full book for a business trip coming up in a couple of weeks.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Read the first 7 chapters online, free.
Totally hooked, pre-ordered the book on Amazon and got it yesterday.
Just ordered two patches, thanks for the heads-up.

On a mission to find it this weekend. Only downside of a small town, we have one tiny bookstore, so I had to wait to come into the real city or order online, and I like brick and mortar bookstores. It's the smell, I think.

The only problem with this book is that it will completely destroy you ability to enjoy most horror and supernatural fiction. I can't even watch something like True Blood without yelling "wheres the extraction team!" or "there called guns, BUY SOME!" at my TV.

It looks like Barnes and Nobel don't want to be left out of the loop, they're advertising the book for $7.99:

Biography
Larry Correia is hopelessly addicted to two things, guns and B-horror movies. He is part owner of FBMG (Fuzzy Bunny Movie Guns), a business specializing in firearms and movie props. He shoots competitively and is a certified concealed weapons instructor. He resides in Utah with his very patient wife and family. Monster Hunter International is his first novel.

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I've read the preview chapters on the Baen website, and have it on order from Amazon. It's in transit. Grrrrr.

Just finished reading the book, if you don't have it, get it as soon as possible. This book kicks ass and takes names.
