ok, I am looking to get a couple of flags for the garage wall... I'm thinking about a Gadsden, a Culpepper Militia and a First Union Jack...
The Stars and Stripes are already flying outside the garage...
So, what i have looked for is a place to get them... do i get a nylon one for $20 to 30... or will polyester work for $5 to 8?
i have found these

Poly works just fine for an inside garage wall. If you are going to fly them in the wind, get the better flag. Just that simple.
I have a poly Gadsden flag and the hem has needed resewing once already and it has had maybe a week of being flown outside.

One of the more striking flags is the Imperial German flag of Kaiser Wilhelm II

Several years ago, my brother came into possession of one and offered it to me on the condition I fly it from my house. Even though VA is somewhat more tolerant than more PC places, I declined. If I knew how much they were worth, I might have taken him up on it!

Given how historically illiterate the average American is, how many of your neighbors would have even recognized it?D5CAV wrote:Several years ago, my brother came into possession of one and offered it to me on the condition I fly it from my house. I doubt they would have recognized it beyond being Teutonic, which automatically equals "Nazi" equals "evil", and why would you fly it? He probably could fly the old Soviet flag without anyone "batting an eye."randy wrote:Given how historically illiterate the average American is, how many of your neighbors would have even recognized it?D5CAV wrote:Several years ago, my brother came into possession of one and offered it to me on the condition I fly it from my house. Edit: I have to get one of those 1824 Mexican flags as a bumper sticker. I wonder if anyone in California knows the significance, or would they all wonder why some one wrote "1824" on a Mexican flag?
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

My brother lives in rural North Carolina. The Soviet Flag would be trouble. The "Stars and Stripes" might raise a few eyebrows. The "Stars and Bars" are required.Windy Wilson wrote:He probably could fly the old Soviet flag without anyone "batting an eye."
