Meh. Took me awhile to get too-it was the term "arrival" that threw me off, I guess to keep things family friendly.

(passed on from my Dad):
When you're standing on the side of the road, you speak with respect to the officer, no matter how big of a jerk he is. It's "Yes Sir", "No Sir", and, depending on the situation "I will have to discuss that with my lawyer sir".

If he's wrong, we'll nail his ass in court. But the cops will ALWAYS win on the side of the road.

(From an ARMY ROTC Instructor):

You only get to fall on your sword once. If the time comes, make DAMNED sure that this is the hill you want to die on.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

learn enough about car maintenance to know how to do all of the routine stuff on your own... oil changes, air filters, transmission fluid changes etc... buy the "book" for your car and read and learn all of the stuff about scheduled maintenance... you dont have to do the actual work yourself if you dont want, the idea is to make sure you know what you are looking at when some random mechanic holds up a dirty rag and tells you there is a problem...

if you dont, you will loose a lot of money and have a lot of headaches... for example, a $8 air filter that takes 2 minutes to install yourself will cost you $30 if you pay someone else to do it for you...
+1 to that! I learned a lot about auto mechanics over the last 4 years. The more you can do for yourself, the better. And the same goes for home repair. At least be able to do some basic maintenance and repairs yourself.
Buy ammunition and magazines.

You'll shoot your eye out!

And you can use an analyzer yourself to reset oil change lights and stuff like that.

Remember, losing all of your possessions, including your house is not the worst thing that can happen.

Boy it took me a long time to really learn about wasting energy on hate! (He said while checking his note books on do it yourself sniper rifles.)
