Ruger 30 round Mini-14 magazines: Time are a-changin’

In last November for the first time in a long while did Ruger finally start selling mini-14 20 round magazines to the general public. Previously they had restricted them to law enforcement only. Now only 5 months later they are selling 30 rounders!

This is a great move by Ruger. At this rate we should be seeing a 100 round drum pretty soon
Bob Dylan got it right when he sung

Come senators, congressmen, please heed the call
Don’t stand in the doorway, don’t block up the hall
For he that gets hurt will be he who has stalled
The battle outside ragin’
Will soon shake your windows and rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin’

They are selling for $49.95 at Ruger.com.

Wonderful!

Now all we need is for Ruger to make some factory 20 rd and 30 rd magazines for the mini-30.

I'd be happy with 20 and 30-round magazines for the 6.8 Ranch Rifle as well.

My friend who had the AC 556 would've loved for these to have been on the market at that time.
Buy ammunition and magazines.

You'll shoot your eye out!

Another blog.

Mr. Fifer has been there a couple of years. Guess who is really pulling the strings?

On April 25, 2008, the Company issued a press release announcing that on April 23, 2008, Stephen L. Sanetti resigned as a Director of the Company.
that was the same month as the LCP was released and since then they have released the LCR and the new 30 round mags... plus the SR-9 was released in what nov 07? perhaps his leaving had something to do with his not liking the way the company was heading...
