? That's surprising, off the top of my head, I can't remember having a primer failure w. a 22 -- but I have had some feed failures.

i would say that about 1 in 100 do not fire... and that is with 3 different rifles.

Aglifter hasn't seen any primer failures in .22lr, because he normally shoots things like .375H&H and the like.

Of course, if you've met him, you can understand. He is a BIG guy.

I'm with Chris, Less than 1 a brick is common - I know a coupla guys that would save up the duds and send 'em back to federal, and get an equivalent amount(or more) back..

Of course, that was Fed 711, and these guys were going through a case every coupla months.

I don't know if our packaging is the same or different then yours, so can you answer these questions for me and for the edification of the others...thank you so much...

Rimfire - 50 rounds X 20 boxes = a Brick (1,000 rounds)...

What is the amount of a case, how many bricks? How many make a pallet?

Shotgun - 25 rounds to a box...

How many boxes makes a case? How many cases make a pallet?

Centerfire - Rifle - 20 rounds per box...
Centerfire - Handgun - 50 rounds per box

How many boxes makes a case? How many cases make a pallet?

EDIT
Corrected to:
Rimfire - 50 rounds X 10 boxes = a Brick (500 rounds)...sorry was thinking of handgun ammo...

Just ordered another 5K of least expensive Aguila available from CMP.
Current stash of the same down to ~3K.
419ASVSE Aguila .22 Caliber - 1135 fps.
5000 Round Case $189*
As for primers, the cheap Rem green box I got at Wally World a couple years back was the worst. I'd average 1 bad primer/20 rounds. Yuck, very frustrating but good training for clearing bad rounds.

Junior Termite has run into the same problem. The ammo in the 500-525 rd bulk box of Remington looks the same as the Remington 100 rd plastic boxes, but apparently the quality control is much less.
Personally, I find CCI to be the most dependable. It's what I keep in the PX-22.
