I use the same box... er, at least a very similar looking one, in my pick up -- just be sure to put the key on a quick disconnect from the rest of the key ring.

It likely means that they are no longer tracking it in the stores on the website. If you happen to find one in the store, that's great, but you will no longer be able to search the stores online for the item. And if a store is out of them, they won't show that either - but you can always call your nearby stores and ask if they have any.cu74 wrote:I went to the WalMart site linked for the DAC and note "Not sold online" and also "Not sold in stores". WTF?
Rumpshot - no worries, it's not going anywhere.

Congrats! Sounds like an impressive feat, getting permission to carry at your workplace.
I'm attending a UT Concealed Firearm Permit class this weekend in Orem, Utah. If there's any folks in Utah wanting to get their CCW and learn a revolutionary shooting method, please find details below:

On Saturday, March 28, 2009, get a lifetime of competence, safety & confidence for only $300! (includes fingerprints, photos, full color reference manual)
Perhaps you have a concealed firearm permit, but you're frankly afraid to carry a firearm on you. Why? Because you're not sure of your ability to hit what you're aiming at or because you're not confident you can keep it safely out of the reach of unauthorized persons, and because you've heard plenty of negative stigma about those who carry firearms.
Our training and this exclusive shooting technique will certainly address all of these valid aspects which have kept men and women from responsibly exercising their 2nd Amendment rights for decades.
- Class held in Orem, UT
- Class schedule runs from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009. You must plan on attending the FULL day.
- A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required for each participant of this training. You may pay this via Google Checkout upon your registration.
- Women of Caliber does not accept credit cards or checks at the training location. Cash only.
Learn the laws AND the method.
Seating is limited so register now at http://womenofcaliber.com or call 801-788-4133.

Re: CCW process commenced - Classroom and practical completed
Attended to the curricula today. No problem. 8 hours plus of instruction culminating in 10 (actually 20 rounds, 10 for me and 10 for Mrs. Rumpshot) rounds expended in demonstrating marksmanship skills. Certificate of successful completion and fingerprint cards received. Now to send it off to the state with the "certified" funds and wait.

Not really. The holster that I used at RR last year is my expectation for holster use for a while. It is a simple belt slide holster that is molded to fit my Model 39. It is getting harder and harder to find holsters that fit a Model 39.308Mike wrote:OUTSTANDING!! Have you picked out a few different holsters for different types of dress?
Picked up a nice Triple K Carrylite for the Taurus. Won't do much for concealed carry though.
My attire will take some work to truly conceal the weapon.
Much planning to do for trips about the city. I frequently visit Luke AFB. I work on an airport. Sometimes locking away in the car is okay, sometimes not.
