Inspector blessed the electrical and gas underground today. We can cover it up and fill it in now and get busy on tile and coping.

They sent out a different inspector -- unusual here. Typically only one inspector works this area of the county area and will inspect a job from start to finish. Wonder if it had to do with me leaving a verbal complaint with the supervisor. Guess I'll never know.

Closing in on finished tile and coping.

Getting waste line in for RV hookups and future shop/apt. Back at it bright and early

It was quite a day in the dirt Saturday working on RV/Shop waste line install.

The bad news is that as we got down to tie into the tank's tight line something smelled rotten in Denmark.

The good news is we discovered this before a bunch of landscaping and paving went into the area that would have had to be demo'd out for repairs.

I was fairly well gassed by the end of the day (no methane pun intended) in and out trenches, digging here and there to keep the young guys motivated/teach 'em some tricks. I even got in a couple short spells on the 60lb jackhammer for old times sake.

It's Monday and the back seems to have held up. Yee-hah. I may be able to make that spring pig hunt after all!

Waiting on septic contractor now to come for a looksee and give his prognosis. I fear an output line is blocked.

Ruhh-rohhh.

Which one is that? In Texas?

The Son&Heir is graduating HS so been hoping to head up north towards Paso Robles with my son and see if we can kill a couple [strike]condors[/strike] pigs on a guided hunt. I need to get busy and book it. Getting kind of late to book at the first spot I've got in mind.
