England had the same problem when prince Harry was supposed to go to Iraq. They had to pull him out, and with much secrecy send him to Afghanistan instead, but once the media found out, they had to pull him out from there too.

But she IS pro-choice. You can either be responsible and use protection (or abstain), or you can have a child. Who says there isn't a choice here????mekender wrote:They just interviewed some douchebag on FOX that was talking about how she was wrong because she isnt pro choice...

Complete and utter pwnage! It is pretty audacious for the Obama campaign to say that Governor Palin is not qualified to be Vice President. She has a record of accomplishment that Senator Obama simply cannot match. Governor Palin has spent her time in office shaking up government in Alaska and actually achieving results -- whether it's taking on corruption, passing ethics reform or stopping wasteful spending and the 'bridge to nowhere.' Senator Obama has spent his time in office running for President.

None of them are in a combat zone now though, right?mekender wrote:McCain has 3 military sons, one was a Marine in Iraq, another flew Navy jets and the third is enrolled at Annapolis.
I could be wrong here, but there is a difference between having a father that's a senator, and having a parent that is President/VP. A senator isn't Commander in Chief, or next in line to be CiC. And McCain was really popular among the media up till a few months ago, they really had no reason to report about his sons whereabouts.

Re: Fox saying it's Palin
Feb '08 was before McCain had emerged as the nominee, right?
I could be wrong, and I honestly hope I am, because I think Palins son should be able to go with his friends to do the job he signed up for. I guess maybe I'm just a cynic, and I remember the european press reporting where Harry would be, even going so far as to reporting the insurgents views on the matter.
Time change, it was very different when the English army went to the Falklands, and had royalty in their ranks.

Clipped this from Michelle Malkin's site (Moose stew? Now yer talkin'!)
. Sarah Louise Palin (nee Heath) was born Feb., 1964, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Her family moved to Alaska when Sarah was an infant. Her father, Chuck, is a retired schoolteacher.
2. She attended Wasilla High School where she played point guard on the state champion basketball team. Her nickname was “Sarah Barracuda.”
3. Palin graduated in 1987 from the University of Idaho with a degree in journalism. She worked briefly as a sports reporter in Anchorage.
4. She refers to her husband, Todd, as the “First Dude.” He’s worked as a commercial fisherman and as a production operator on the North Slope for BP. He enjoys snowmobiling and has won the Tesoro Iron Dog, billed as the world’s longest snowmobile race, four times.
5. Palin and her husband have five children, Bristol, Piper, Track, Willow, and Trig. Trig, born in 2008, has been diagnosed with Down syndrome. Her son Track joined the army in 2007.
6. Her favorite meal is moose stew.
7. She comes from a family of outdoor enthusiasts. Her parents, Chuck and Sally Heath, enjoy hunting and fishing, and have both completed marathons.
8. Palin was named Miss Wasilla in 1984 and was a runner-up for Miss Alaska. In 1996 she was elected mayor of Wasilla.
9. She’s a lifetime NRA member and enjoys hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.
10. Elected in 2006, she’s Alaska’s first female governor and the youngest governor elected in the state.

The most pressing question... that which we ALL need to know is this: What is Gov. Palin's preferred handgun caliber for grizzlies?
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."
