My apartment (the FOB) in the town where I work is like that. When I want to broil something in the oven I run around and disable the 57 smoke detectors my landlady put in....

Wranglestars latest video showed up in my feed with the title " defund the church". I thought that maybe, just maybe, he'd talk like a sane person...

I was wrong.

Who is Cody? And why would anybody watch him?

Cody is the real first name of the guy on "Wranglestar" on YouTube.

In other news, i.did some investigation into building a lightweight elk rifle, after reading about elk hunting in.. Elk county Pennsylvania..

A Pierce Titanium action, a Proof research CF barrel, and A Manners CF hunting stock means a 6.5 lb hunting rifle(plus optics and mounting hardware). Great for carrying in the woods, but probably unpleasant to shoot in .338 Win Mag  the other unpleasant feeling about it is sticker shock 1800 bucks for the action, 800+ for the barrel blank, probably a similar amount for the stock once configured... So, 3500+ dollars in parts, plus the cost of optics, plus all the misc( trigger, action screws, pillars, epoxy, rings, mounts, locktite, etc...) I can see this topping 7 grand in mark costs.. to shoot something that I already have a rifle for.. :?

Blaser R8 is about 6.4 lbs and start around $3.5k, so you could just go that route.

I have talked to elk hunterwho use 30-06 and such too (a girl in MO dropped one with a 243 too, but that is probably pushing it) so 338 win mag may not be necessary.

And. 30-30 is legal for Moose in Maine, still doesnt make it a good idea. When i shoot something, i dont eant it going anywhere.

As for the R4, im guessing it has a 22" pencil barrel, and not a 26" Sendero? Proof Research offers Sendero contours up to 28", at least in .338.
