I swear, some days I think they're out to kill me and keep me from going to work or making a living!!! GRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
On my way to work a few minutes ago:
One hit the brakes while driving down the freeway ONRAMP while everyone else is stomping on the gas because of the oncoming traffic on the freeway we're going to merge with.
Plugging the fast lane doing 60 MPH because the concrete barriers next to the freeway construction at the edge of the California standard 12 FOOT traffic lane scare her - and she WON'T move out of the lane or speed up.
TWO different women drivers almost hit my car because they were putting on makeup while driving.
Another woman tries to merge into my car after putting on her turn signal to move over and starts changing lanes WITHOUT LOOKING FIRST. Then she flips me off after I hit my horn and scare her back into her lane (BTW, there was NO ONE in her lane causing her to need to move over).
I'm almost to work and as I'm getting off the freeway, there's a woman BACKING DOWN THE OFFRAMP 'cause she took the wrong exit. But is she doing it on the SHOULDER??? NO, SHE'S IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LANE of the offramp!!!
Is it genetic or what?? They don't pay attention, they think they're the only on on the road, even if they're wrong, they act like YOU'RE the one at fault, they don't turn their heads to look, many of them drive their cars like it's a grocery cart/carriage/buggy, etc.....
Even my wife says there are FAR too many bad women drivers giving them a bad name.
WTF, over???
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad
You are absolutely right and it gives the rest of the ladies a bad name.
I think it comes back to all the crap about women being multi-task oriented. Just driving IS multi-tasking. It is not the appropriate time to put on make-up and sort laundry.

Ok, I just have to ask: What says that down is the correct position?
Men are practical thinkers, we tend to organize our environment so it's ready for it's intended purpose.
my wife slaps me every time i complain about how she wont put the seat up when she is done.

I know a guy who was a DMV driver's license examiner for a few years. His opinion? Two reasons, one biological, one psychological.
The biological reason is that, generally speaking, women have difficulty judging distance and speed. To a lesser extent, women also have worse depth perception than men, too.
Psychologically, women are more cautious than men, until you surround them with a ton or more of steel. The bigger the vehicle, the more "safe" they feel. And the less cautious they drive.
This probably blends in with situational awareness, but most women I know are poor at spatial relationships. Kinda important when changing lanes, parking, or whatever with a vehicle.
But, then I'll have some Swift driver try to fit his 53' trailer in a 50' space in front of me, and I realize it isn't only women.
A gun is a tool, Marian; no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.
Maybe its just me; maybe it stands out because of my apallingly low opinion of them. Maybe its something about the places I drive (or drove) a lot (Las Vegas, chi-pit northwest urbs) but the one point of commonality in the significant majority of skill-and-attention-deficit-challenged vehicle operators I've witnessed isn't their gender.
