Hoo-rah

Post by blackeagle603 »

Son got the call today from Marine Recruiter. Told him to look for ROTC package in the mail any day -- he got selected for the scholarship!

Now to get accepted to the right school -- tick tock, watch the calander....

Yee-Haaa! Good job on his part!
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

OUTSTANDING!!! Good job, Dad!! You done well raising your boy!! :D :D
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Of course, I suggest Texas A&M... What major is he planning on?

May I please recommend my alma mater:

http://www.erau.edu/degrees/all-degrees.html

The best school in the world for military officers other than the service academies; and they have ROTC programs for all services.
Ill second that recommendation... every friend i had that went there (Daytona campus) was getting a top notch education.

If he gets accepted to Embry, I can check up on him when I visit my li'l brother!
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

Had to list and apply to 5 that are on NROTC list. Wants to do Mech Eng. Top choices are Cal Maritime and USD.

Apparently the military will come back and tell him which they'll support him at. I reckon cheapest would be their first choice. Not totally clear how the next step works. Waiting to see info that acceptance package.

the only stipulation i would have on Riddle in Daytona would be that you dont actually live in Daytona or Port Orange... both places are hellholes...

If possible, live north in Ormond or south in New Smyrna...
