I'm waiting for him to take up residence next door to Roseann Barr. Her apology was tearful, abject and sincere -- or as sincere as someone in the acting racket can be. Fonda, now . . .
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

Me neither. It's not like he said something ambiguous about Teh Won, or something unforgivable like that.
