Grandson #2

Post by Rumpshot »

Well yesterday morning in the PRK my daughter delivered her second son, my second Grandson.

His older brother (he's 3 1/2) has two rifles. A .22 and a .36. One rimfire the other a muzzleloader.

Guess Ole Grandpa needs to get off his duff and start rifle shopping again. :D

Congrats...and another dozen more, so long as they're healthy!

I'm still waiting for my first and I feel it's still off in the distant future a ways...they want and need to establish their careers first and in two cases their husbands are still in MBA or PhD finals so the girls are working to support…

I didn’t mind diapering my own (I had 4 and for a short while 5 in diapers at the same time)...No, really, I didn't mind the smell (much) and I was very good at doing it and we used only cloth diapers, no disposables! I would bear up to doing a relative’s infant if need be but I wonder how I’ll do with my rug rats, rug rats? Spoiling them rotten, I got down fairly well and am working on the timing as to when to return them when they're most "difficult"...

My neighbour, kitty corner across the street, is due any hour now and her husband is a complete klutz and with him working evenings she's over here a lot and probably will come by even more dragging an infant...Oh, joy or joys <<only slightly sarcastic>> as that’s her name…

Congratulations! My Mom has a t-shirt that says "If I'd known grandkids were so much fun, I'd have had them first!" That pretty much sums it up for me, too.

POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Congratulations, there! I couldn't be happier for you.
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.
