What the puppies have done is make the Hugos into something that is taken seriously again. A battlefield is always something to be taken seriously... It just never looks the same afterward. I just returned from reading Larry's latest blog post. I laughed my ass off at the comment thread.

A friend once inflicted a Chuck Tingle story on me.
It was gratuitous and the man definitely has an obsession with being pounded in the ass. It was still better sci-fi story than Ancillary Justice. I will never willingly read one of his stories again, but I can safely assume he probably earned a Hugo.
