Good luck and godspeed.

Remember to hoard batteries and magazines (both kinds) whenever you can.

Keep safe, shoot straight & true, know when to duck and come back with all parts attached and working…

A Jewish phrase translated from the Yiddish goes, "Go in good health, return in good health!"

The thirteen rules of combat are:
1. Incoming fire always has the right of way.
2. KISS - Keep it simple, Stupid.
3. Keeping it simple is the hardest thing in the world to do.
4. Never stand next to anyone braver then you.
5. If things are going too well, it’s an ambush.
6. The easiest way is mined.
7. The one thing you never run out of is the enemy.
8. Infrared works both ways.
9. Professionals are always predictable.
10. We always wind up fighting amateurs.
11. When the enemy is in range, so are you.
12. When in doubt, shoot until your magazine is empty.
13. Never stand next to anyone dumber then you.

Taken from Book 1 "Starfist" of a 12 volume Sci-Fi future Marines adventures by David Sherman & Dan Cragg...Very well written and quite plausible throughout the series...I'm finishing book number 4 "Blood Contact" now and have enjoyed them all, again.

Take leather gloves, down sweater and if you can silk long underwear bottoms (Cabela’s et al carry them) sheer delight, warm and wind proof and of course extra socks, batteries and flash cards for photos or video messages home...
There is a certain type of mentality that thinks if you make certain inanimate objects illegal their criminal misuse will disappear!
