Happy Birthday, brother, comrade-in-arms, fellow Horseman!! 8-)

Let me tell you, it gets worse as you approach 50.  :o

Oh, and same birthday as my dad (my mom's birthday is tomorrow).

All of the eldest males on my dad's side of the family have been born on holidays: my Grandfather was born on Independence Day (Independence was his middle name), my dad was born on New Year's Day, and my older brother was born on Labor Day - but it goes back much further than that but I don't have all the particulars.

Happy birthday kid. Some day you'll be all grown up.

Thanks guys, your well wishes mean a lot to me. I will post pictures of the party later. Miss G&T of course got black balloons, hats, the works. Plus a big sign in the yard announcing it to the neighbors! She went all out... :o :ugeek: At least the bands played till 2.

Kind of anti climatic, plus I had TWO friends have serious episodes today, one I will post about, the other private... Oy...

Happy Birthday, CC. While 40 may seem significant, (and it is) all things are relative. The significance will fade as you approach more archaic numbers. I'm one of the two "Three Percenters" over on the "How Old Are You" post and I'm still shooting........ :D (Want me to bring you a walking cane for the next Austin shoot? )
