Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

Yes but at least those are physical objects, not pixel boats. This is especially odd to me as in many cases there are very similar ships available or soon to be available.

Some people have more money than they know what to do with. It's sort of digital "bling" for some. A -boo obsession for others. *shrug*
My kid keeps telling me about the thousands of dollars people are spending on knife skins for CS:GO. No way I am spending 50 bucks or whatever they are charging for a digital ship like that, but these people are supposedly spending over a grand to make their digital knife look different. Not even better or different.
Some people can get away with going through money like some people go through toilet paper. I just want to know how they do it, then have time to play games.

And other people go spend $100 at a bar once a week... Others blow $50 a week going to see the latest shitty Hollywood film...

Re: USS Ranger CV-4 From World of Warships
I'm having a lot of fun in this game. Though so far I'm not sure I will get into the carriers. BB's can be fun if used right. Though so far I've only gotten the starter Japanese BB and the Wyoming class one, which I'm going to keep. 6 turrets, I'm having trouble believing that moving up to a higher tier that only has 3 turrets is going to be better.
Clemson class DD, love this thing. I get killed a lot, but often take 2-4 of the enemy with me. The Isokaze? 3 2-shot torp launchers, also a fun ride.
The thing with DDs, don't hang back, get in there, shoot your torps from about 3km away and they can't dodge. You may get killed going in, but if you don't you'll sink him like a rock. If you have launchers on both sides, circle and use them! The BB can't dodge all those torps if you shoot in close and don't give him any time to dodge.
St. Louis class cruiser.. keep it. The guns aren't big, but you'll get lots and lots of hits with them.
Phoenix class cruiser... initially didn't think well of it, after the upgrades are done, I love this thing. Looking forward to an Omaha, but I'll be keeping the Phoenix. Also the Chikuma and maybe the Tenryu.
Aurora, bought one, keeping it. May get a Murmansk too, haven't decided. Didn't buy a Tirpitz, not going to spend 60 dollars on one. Not going to spend 40 on an Atlanta either. If the Warspite comes back around I might buy that.
I think I must be decent at this game since I usually get at least 2 kills every time and this past week 3-4 kills in a game has been common.
And don't get rid of the Erie and Hachimachi. They are just too much fun.
Best yet? Charging into the midst of it all in a Wickes taking the A point solo and killing half the enemy force as they got there (4 of them) in short order.
Doing the same in a Clemson and sinking 5. Shoot your torps from 3 klicks, circle around and shoot the launchers on the other side. Sinking 4 including 3 BBs with an Isokaze. Hanging back with a Phoenix, getting over 120 hits, sinking 3, and getting my best money and xp score yet.
Best yet? Last night, Tier 1 Hachimachi in a mostly tier 1 fight. 10 ships each side, both sides players. Sank 6 including the only tier 2 cruiser on the other side and survived the match. Just good shooting, good rate of fire and lots of hits. 3 or 4 of those kills the majority of the damage done to them was all me. Just keep shooting, anything in range, shoot every time your guns are up and use good windage.
German ships are coming, looking forward to that. German DDs were supposed to be the best of their day.
