Ooooohhhh! Shiny!
Got to fire a full auto one once. 20 rounds of .30-06 goodness does not last long, even in 3 round bursts.

...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

This. I've fired them a few times. It's over far too soon. There's a 6.5x55 version out there too, I'd love that.randy wrote:Ooooohhhh! Shiny!

Re: I Want One
Back in ye olde days, I heard tell of a prototype BAR with an aluminum frame in 5.56 X 45 mm. It was considered as a more reliable substitute for the M-16. Reportedly reliable but considered too expensive to manufacture.
I wonder if using more up to date manufacturing methods a 5.56 version would be more competitive on price in a semi-auto version for the civilian market?

One of them, and a Johnson M1941 rifle, and the LMG if Ohio Ordnance could design one in the approved semi-auto.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
