Got two of the baby pockets he was talking about. .38 S&W caliber, fun guns. He didn't mention that you could get three barrel lengths, the 3 1/2, 5, and 7 1/2; all fitted to the same gun. If you can find one of them, it'll be worth a LOT.

Rod very kind let me shoot his at CC's fiesta some years ago. One of the highlights of the trip! Unfortunately, he had counted it...

Very cool. I could tell when he started manipulating the first gun that it was manufactured to pretty high standards, it was darn smooth.

Best review of those I've seen. Some very cool features. Now if Uberti would just get busy on some repros!

Re: Merwin & Hulbert Revolvers
There was a company that was going to reproduce the Army Models. They were taking orders but now seem to have dropped out of sight. I think the price was around $1,500 but that gun needs a LOT of fine tolerances so I'm betting they couldn't make a profit at that price. If Uberti did it, I'd bet they'd top 2 grand.blackeagle603 wrote:Best review of those I've seen. Some very cool features. Now if Uberti would just get busy on some repros!
