Ruger

My question is..I bought the Boss a new SR22 pistol and the trigger pull is , how can I say it , atrocious ? Any suggestions on a fix?

Mine was "less than ideal" but a couple hundred rounds through it, and either it cleaned up a lot, or I just got used to it.

Is it too heavy, or just rough?

Seriously - just shoot a few hundred rounds through it, give it a thorough cleaning, and then reevaluate. If it's new, it needs shooting-in and getting used to. Once that phase is over, if you're still not satisfied, call Ruger and see if they'll do a fluff and buff on the trigger for you.

The Boss bought me one for Christmas a few years ago, and while it isn't something that I would have picked up for myself, I've actually come to kinda like the little beggar. Not much for fancy, but decently accurate, and very tolerant of a variety of different .22 LR ammo.

And the grandkids think it's a hoot! I think they have more fun with it than any other handgun I own.
