You are Ivan the Terrible!

Post by workinwifdakids »

In another thread, Chris mentioned Ivan the Terrible. Russians alone must not be allowed to shamelessly intimidate and self-promote by turning vague adjectives into proper nouns!

So, please contribute with [username] the [characteristic]! The good folks at www.synonyms.net may be of help to you.

I shall hereinafter be referred to in fearful whispers as...

WORKINIFDAKIDS the GREGARIOUS

In America, you create nickname. In Soviet Russia, NICKNAME create YOU!
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

Is Nick Is Name?
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

It's pretty common to use name like that in Scandinavian history too. One great example is Christian II of Denmark, who is known in Sweden as Christian the Tyrant.

The obvious for me would be to just grab the name of a 13th century king, "Erik the Lisp and Lame", but that wouldn't be very selfpromoting. (nor accurate :) )
Have to think abit for a better one.

Cybrludite the Slovenly would be accurate, though not really fear inducing. Perhaps Cybrludite the Ursine would work since I'm big, fuzzy, and not pleasant company before I've had my first pot of coffee...
