HEY! I kinda get a kick out of the Numa song, especially when little hotties do it. Trouble is, it's the kind of tune that can get stuck in your brain.

Didn't see it mentioned yet, so I'll vote for Disney's "It's a Small World."

Anything by "Cher" but especially "I Got You, Babe". (ThinkGroundhog Day)

I got frigging STUCK on the "small world" ride once. For nearly an hour. In the "china" (or maybe the PC term would be "asia" section.

No, I'm not kidding.

I still have nightmares about it  ...

I'm not joking one bit - I was seriously within about one chorus of wading out of there in that na$+y-@$$ water. I didn't care about disease at that point - after an hour of "ho-ka-wing-wang, chee-she-doo" I was losing my effing MIND!!!

My kids were like 6 and 4 at the time, but they still remember that... NONE of us would go back on that ride - not even at gun-point... Wifey got all upset because "it's a tradition" since she was little - everybody MUST ride "IASW" when they go.

Coward that I am, I let the kids take the blame for not going...

Crap - had the "small-world" flashback and completely forgot why I came here...

I think I piddled... :?

Anyhow, ... What I wanted to say was "any of the 'freecreditreport.com' songs from any of their annoying frigging commercials. I've never been able to stand that ESS-tothe-TEE -tothe-U-P-I-D shiat, and that G*d-cursed ear-worm somehow gets to breeding inside my head for a week every time I hear it. My kids think it's funny because I'll scramble for the remote every time I see that kid's moronic face on my TV. Little biatches will wait until I'm vulnerable then start singing it just to get to me.

It would take a lot to make me suicidal, but ... that would do it.

I'll tell you anything you want. Do what you want to my wife and kids, just please -- PLEASE -- DON'T MAKE ME LISTEN TO THAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Gah!!

I think I piddled again...

Sorry, mate--didn't mean to trigger that nasty flashback. After that kind of ordeal, you must still be going through some serious theropy.

Have you ever thought of suing Disney?

Tom Smith's Telly Taley Heart.

John Denver's Annie's Song.

Anything from the soundtracks to Annie, Pipin, or Hair.

The Judy Collins version of Both Sides Now. (The orchestration is so much more earworm worthy than Joni Mitchell's serious seventies acoustic guitar strumming...)

Another good one for getting stuck in people's heads is Gordo's Sundown.

And thanks to Tam, we've got Susanne Vega's Tom's Diner to think about.

I remember when Hugh Hewitt made his producer ride the It's a Small World ride for an entire three-hour show. Five years later and I still don't think the guy is over it.

They should make them listen to this Eurovision favorite... the video might be too much for sensitive terrorist stomachs, though.

Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Glenn Miller, Louis Armstrong. All the masterpieces, all the
truly great Masters. And between each song, a question would be asked as to why
their cultures have never produced any musical masters, ask them if they are
beginning to like the music of the infidels. When the start to enjoy the music they'll have
to think why the world they want could never produce it.

But then maybe I'm to subtle and it would be casting pearls before swine.
