To add to the radio/CD/cassette tape/record player/MP3 skills, I'll up the ante with my knowledge of how to operate an 8-track player, reel to reel, and a player piano.
On a more serious note, I have become a reasonable facsimile of a guitar player in my free time on this deployment. I should really work on my finger drills and scales practice, but since I developed my repertoire to an excess of 20 songs, I tend to just screw around until my fingers get tired.
I read music (passably), a skill kept alive only by the occasional need to find a note on a piano. I can read bass lines pretty well due to singing from age 6 up through college, with some time in the University of Kentucky men's acapella group, the acoUstiKats. I've been slipping on the singing recently, but plan to find a church to attend when I get back. I got kinda disillusioned with church with the spread of the 'praise band', as I was raised more old-school Southern Baptist (my dad was a minister when I was growing up, thus the early start in singing) with a much more conservative worship service. "Sound bite Christianity" bugs me. But that's another thread.
Oh, and I can make a M240B sing...

Trumpet. Spent a lot of time with a French Horn or Baritone as needed.
Played through 2nd year of college. Orchestra, Stage Band, Brass Ensemble, Marching Band. Still play at church those less regularly as styles have shifted.
Fool around with guitar but mostly just campfire sing a long stuff.

When I'm not playing the fool, I enjoying playing earnest and over-concerned liberals like a cheap fiddle.

Ooops, I should have qualified that by saying MY skin flute.

I can play the concert piece Four Minutes, Thirty Three Seconds on the piano.
Playing any musical instrument requires more rhythm than I've got. Hell, I make Martin Mull look like James Brown by comparison...

I play the kazoo quite well... And, on rare occasions, the train whistle...

I play bass guitar pretty well, and have a pretty steady gig at my church. It's a pretty quick moving style of worship, so I pretty much use a pick for everything.
Then again, a while back we did a lot of black gospel styled music, so it was slap and pop time.
And on rare occasions I'll do percussion- congas, shakers, tamborine, cowbell...
However, I do wish I could play keyboard... other than the intro to Metallica's "Orion".
