Fine Quality Small Cigars

Post by skb12172 »

I'm a big fan of smaller sized cigars for various reasons, mostly because I don't always have time to sit enjoy a full sized smoke. I bought a box of RP Juniors awhile back and really loved them, but alas I am almost out and I figured it's time for a box of something new. Anyone have any suggestions on good small cigars or should I stick with RP juniors?

Have you checked out the selection at Iwan Reis? (You'll have to Google that one) They are a pretty big tobacconist in the Chicago area, and I used to buy pipe tobacco from them (and the occasional pipe, when I could find a good deal on sale.)

It's been a while, since I quit smoking in May of '09, but I seem to recall that they had a pretty good selection of cigars as well as pipes and tobacco.
But there ain't many troubles that a man caint fix, with seven hundred dollars and a thirty ought six."

Lianos Dos Palmas makes some very nice, and reasonable, small cigars.

As a disclaimer, it is owned by friends of mine, but they really are good - they use the same roller, Ari, and the same grade of tobacco as their larger cigars.

Which Patel Juniors are you smoking? There are a bunch of them. I've smoked the Vintage 1990 and the Vintage 1992 and like them both a lot. I'm a very big fan of Rocky Patel cigars overall. The Decade is outstanding.

Also, on occasion, Romeo et Julietta minis and Cohiba Red Dot minis.

Rocky is probably my favorite cigar brand. But most of the major makers have nub cigars that won't have you sacrificing any flavor and only take about half the time of the full size cigars.

Oliva makes a whole line of Nubs. Some of which are very tasty. http://www.cigarsinternational.com/ciga ... -by-oliva/

If I only have 15 minutes for a quick smoke, I usually grab one of these: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/ciga ... tage-2002/

You can snag the Robustos on cigarbid.com for less than $2 a stick. Very tasty and I don't mind throwing out half of one if I have to.
