Check the PSA lower parts kit for completeness. We had some issues with missing parts that PSA made good on, but that doesn't help when you're in the middle of a build party and you want it done NOW!

Good idea. I can print off some of the schematics from AR-15dotcom and use them as a guide.

The build party probably won't go down until after Christmas. I'm trying to get a few others on the bandwagon and convert a few of my friends that are kinda Fudds. Right now there are 4-5 tentative folks that want to build ARs. If I could get NPR interested he may even get a stripped lower for Christmas... ;)

Consider buying an extra spring/detent kit. Those little suckers have a tendency to lose themselves.

One of the guys in my build party placed his assembly inside a large, clear plastic bag during certain assembly steps to contain any launched springs.

I would probably sell it to buy an NDS-1 or maybe MG parts, or more likely it would just sit.

Remember if it pings more than twice it's gone forever, or at least until you buy a replacement one.

Or until the next time you walk around in your workshop barefoot.

I have another new chrome lined AK barrel, and barrel-less parts kits are still around. I was going to do a barrel swap with my AMD-65 based build to make it just like the last one I built (now that I have a second kid), but I think it might be better and slightly easier to just start from scratch again. Plus I have an NDS-2, 9mm blank, Suomi drums, and all of the parts I bought for the 9mm build that I haven't done anything with yet. What else am I going to do with the rest of these stocks?
