Why Are M44 Mosins More Expensive?

Post by Darrell »

They've always been more costly than the run of the mill 91-30s and such. Why is that? AIM has some for sale, $219.95:

Because that's what AIM surplus expects to get for them.

Remember when they used to go on sale at Big Five for $69.99?
The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

I remember when they used to go on sale at Big Five for $39.99. Buying my SMLE from them felt like extravagance.

But since Mosin recoil never bothered me much anyway, I must admit I find myself far more interested in the M44 than any other version.

Cabelas went from $169 to $199 in the past couple weeks. No idea why, its not like there will ever be a shortage.
