This is why you don't mess with guys who have air support.

That's a game?

Damn.

It does look disturbingly similar to the actual footage -- and it's a really fun level...

That is indeed Call of Duty 4, and one of the very best levels in the game- aside from the covert ops in Chernobyl and the one where you get nuked.

It actually makes the annoyances of the previous level worth it!

So, does this Call of Duty 4 have a playable 'arcade' element, or do you have to wander through 75 hours of strict levels that require playing for 3 hours before being 'allowed' to do something fun?
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

Well, you gotta go level-by-level, but once you do you can go back and replay them as often as you like! And despite my bitching, most of the levels are truly epic.

That, and the multiplayer is second to none. Made me love (and my buddies hate) the M-60 all over again...

Damn, looked just like the other footage I was going to link. I searched a few before posting that one. It stemmed out of a conversation I had about the effectiveness and flexibility of the AC-130. I thought it had some great upgrades!

Now that's embarrassing...

If this game can fool an Air Force Combat Controller then that's really saying something. They should put that on the box.

If they fooled CC with a view out the windscreen I would be impressed. :D

The whole thing is simulating the display in the AC-130. That part is not all that hard to do.

The animations are great though. They sure seem to run around and blow up like they do in the real footage.

Now I need to go commandeer the 360 and from the kids to try this.
