The movie doesn't really explain it but they aren't anachronisms. It takes place in modern times in a fictional city where people are apparently really into classic cars.Draven wrote:Well, i enjoyed it despite a few flaws and anachronisms...

You're not alone, and it eventually made a profit overseas, but it didn't set any records.HTRN wrote:Well, unlike Aesop, I LIKED Sin City...
And the sequel has been in post-production for two years. Finished in 2012, they're supposedly finally releasing it in August, after pushing it back another year last year. This is not the mark of a good flick, it's generally the kiss of death. If they don't hurry, some of the cast will die first, and it'll be a historical retrospective, not a work of fiction.

I haven't seen it yet (X-Men got too preachy for me as of 2, and went supercritical at X-3) but this is what a friend said about it:
I think a better subtitle for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" would be "X-Men: the Sincere Apology"
SO GOOD

It was quite warm in AZ last weekend and the Mrs. was willing to take in a movie instead of firing off the A/C. We could find nothing better than Capt. America to watch so went to that. Enjoyed it.

I was seriously thinking about seeing it, but I got annoyed by the matinee "discount" I got when I went to see Godzilla* - an 11 AM show should be a bit cheaper than 9 bucks..CByrneIV wrote:PURE FUCKING GENIUS.
*It struck that this is a classic Millenium Godzilla movie, only done with American Cultural overtones/film styles, and a film budget 8 times the highest costing Toho film..
HTRN, I would tell you that you are an evil fucker, but you probably get that a lot ~ Netpackrat
