Age And Cultural Icon Test

Post by 308Mike »

This one shouldn't be too hard/difficult to figure out (posted on FB by one of my friends reposting from George Takai) - if you know it, don't spill the bean for the others (some folks will get it IMMEDIATELY) - ENJOY:
Image
I know several people here will get it IMMEDIATELY once they open the Spoiler Tag. A few others will admit it looks familiar, but something is off or missing. Most younger folks will have NO CLUE what it's about. LOL!!!

Between The Boss, and several friends who are, despite my best efforts, Beatles fans, I deal with this schlock on a regular basis. I'm convinced that The Beatles are the most overrated group in the history of music.

When The Boss tries to crank up the White Album, I tend to respond with Steppenwolf, The Rolling Stones, or (just for fun) Lynard Skynard.

Hey Mike, do me a solid and have your wife beat you with the nearest blunt instrument for that one! ;)

I'd do it myself but due to the distances involved...
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

I knew there was a reason we'd get along so well!

Not a fan of the light weight pop/hippy dippy drug music that covers the entire range of their catalog. AFAIK the British Invasion consisted of the Who, Stones, Clapton, etc.

Let's not forget Queen, and Pink Floyd....or the Aussie AC/DC. 8-)
