MHI related PSA

Kinda surprised that this is not up yet but the newest Monster Hunter book from Larry Corriea is available as an eARC from Baen.

It is, as to be expected, awesome.

I don't get eARCs because I find the proofreading issues distracting. Yeah, I know, anal of me, but I wait until the official release.

How-so-ever, I will be downloading it to my Kindle the day it's available.

So far, so good. I like pretty much everything from the MHI series, but it's never quite the same without Owen Z. Pitt.

Oh, I dunno. The Werewolf book was pretty good, even without Pitt.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

Good? Yes. Just not as funny.

Harbinger is my favorite character, so that was probably my favorite of the series so far.

Got the E-ARC for Nemesis. It's pretty awesome, but I won't spoil anything.

I think that, given Harbinger's character, it makes more sense for the tone to be more... noir, I guess? Less snark, more wry observation.

Different strokes, I guess. I got my girlfriend into the MHI series. She's on the fence about Owen but really likes Harbinger.

Just when I started to adjust my expectations, he goes and brings the gnomes back. :D
