Demanding that women mentally plan for the worst case as a hypothetical possibility, without projecting their fears into all extant reality is called expecting them to have a brain and use it.

You know what Honey? We're really not. In fact, most men are NOT potential rapists unless you alter the definition of "rape" to such an extent that it loses all meaning. So no, the guy you willingly screwed, then regretted, did not rape you. The guy you willingly screwed but who failed to satisfy you did not rape you. The guy you willingly screwed because you'd had a couple too many so you had poor impulse control and lowered inhibitions did not rape you. The guy who kept trying to get into your pants until you threw him one just to shut him up did not rape you. The guy you screwed to get back at your Daddy didn't rape you, and neither did your daddy.

The guy who will punch you in the face, knock your down, tear your clothes off and force you to have sex, HE is the rapist, and most of the guys above would put their own life on the line to PREVENT him from doing so.

I stumbled across a militant feminist's website, and the whole... er... thrust of her post was that ALL genital sex was rape. She called it PIV. It took me a while to figure it out from context. Her argument was that the guy could deposit externally and she could assist with the essence's entry to ensure conception, so, in point of fact, actual insertion was not required to perpetuate the species, ergo all insertion was rape, even if the woman allowed it or had been societally brainwashed into actively wanting it.

In a way, I feel more pity for such women than anything else - it seems difficult to believe anyone could have such extreme beliefs without being a victim of some manner of trauma.

I severely doubt these people are victims except in their own minds. Problem is, when you're not an actual victim of an actual injury or crime, you either have to create your own hate crime or in this case, ratchet up the war of words. Thus, a male statue in underwear in "rape", conservatives are "Nazis", and every politician you hate is worse than Hitler even if they don't have an attributable body count. As much as I want people to be free, sometimes I have to agree with Boyd.

That's just it. In their eyes being a victim gives them advantages, so if you can't realistically claim victim status (as,for instance, an actual rape victim) you do so by changing the definitions (such that exposure to a sculpture is the same as rape) so you can make the claim. If it belittles the horror inflicted upon ACTUAL victims, well, that's OK, they're STILL victims. Just like the Bish-Hitler meme, so anyone disagreeing with Bush gains the moral authority of the millions murdered by the Nazis.
