Following on the heels of a PR release about the statue 'Sleepwalker' being labeled sexual assault, lawyers for the statue file a countersuit of attempted rape on the witches of Wellesley College. "While my client can't speak for himself," the statue's lawyer says. "My client alleges that on certain nights, female neopagan feminism studies students pantomimed having sexual congress with my client, in attempts to make him come to life. When my client failed to rise to these advances, these same students have been engaging in projection and slandering him, saying he's a symbol of sexual assault and rape. An assault is carried out by a threat of bodily harm coupled with an apparent, present ability to cause the harm.

This piece of art is no more capable of threatening, or carrying out the threat, bodily harm than my phone laying on the desk here is. Offensive? That's a subjective assessment of the thin skinned and humorless. Physically harmful? Hardly.

You know what Honey? We're really not. In fact, most men are NOT potential rapists unless you alter the definition of "rape" to such an extent that it loses all meaning. So no, the guy you willingly screwed, then regretted, did not rape you. The guy you willingly screwed but who failed to satisfy you did not rape you. The guy you willingly screwed because you'd had a couple too many so you had poor impulse control and lowered inhibitions did not rape you. The guy who kept trying to get into your pants until you threw him one just to shut him up did not rape you. The guy you screwed to get back at your Daddy didn't rape you, and neither did your daddy.

The guy who will punch you in the face, knock your down, tear your clothes off and force you to have sex, HE is the rapist, and most of the guys above would put their own life on the line to PREVENT him from doing so.
