Taxes...

Post by JAG2955 »

If I could get one wish, it would be for anyone involved in the creation, maintenance, or enforcement of the tax code to get an incurable, excruciating case of scabies.

That is all.

I DO NOT fault the mid-low level employees, I REALLY HATE the BASTARDS AT THE TOP!!! The ENTIRE organization (all 20,000+ of them) NEED to become IMMEDIATELY unemployed, and the sooner the better!!

FLAT TAX - it's fair, it's just, it's reasonable, but it DOES NOT employ enough folks for the federal government as a program/REQUIREMENT!!!
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Speaking of taxes.......Born to Run From High Taxes: Study shows wealthy NJ residents fleeing
New Jersey’s high taxes may be costing the state billions of dollars a year in lost revenue as high-earning residents flee, according to a recent study.

The study, Exodus on the Parkway, was completed by Regent Atlantic last year but held for publication until after the November 2013 elections. The study stated it “intentionally” held its results “as 2014 is not an election year for state legislators” and it will “hopefully encourage a serious and objective dialogue aimed at addressing and solving the challenges that New Jersey currently faces.” The study shows the state has been steadily losing high-net-worth residents since 2004, when Democratic Gov. Jim McGreevey signed the millionaire’s tax into law. The law raised the state income tax 41 percent on those earning $500,000 or more a year...

That's less of a tax on rich people as it is a subsidy for poor ones.
See how that works out a generation down the road.

In other news, a NJ state senator recently recommended raising the gasoline tax by 5 cents a gallon to pay for road repairs. It would only be for three years though. Right, I believe that. The ONE tax we have that's lower than most places, and this turd wants to increase it.

I figure my wife works to pay our taxes and we live off my pay. Considering she makes about 75% of what I make, that's a BIG chunk of our income. But we don't pay our fair share you know. We've made enough money. We didn't work for it.

Driving through Jersey, I was always amazed at how cheap your gas prices are.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

NJ has, IIRC, the lowest average gasoline prices in the Northeast, a combination of high population density(short delivery distances)Refineries in state, and low gasoline taxes.

The sad thing is, they could make the price even lower if they got rid of the moron rule...

Uh huh.
And in 1912, no one in the Senate could conceive of the Income Tax ever exceeding 1%.
