Well, it is official ...
... I'll be kicking out for Iraq. I leave Az in first week of Jan and leave the states early March. Good money less boredom. Yay me. To bad about the gun thing. I figure I'll comeback when I have kids. That will prolly be enough reason to stay in one place for a while.

Head down, high speed, low drag, watch your six, and keep in touch. Who knows, you might be able to put that shotgun experience to good use, preferably at the range, but if necessary in defense.

Ooops. Sorry, I forgot to mention that this visit to the sandbox won't require the removal of my face pubes. I am going as a ridiculously well paid civilian. The question of weather or not I was going to return to the service was put to rest with the election.
As to staying safe, there will be plenty of young men with guns protecting me. And should, god forbid, one of them fall, I will take up his rifle and provide support to his squad mates.
As to what my email addy will be there, they are still working on getting me an AKO account. I'll send to you when I get it. As to the specific where, I'll be based in Baghdad and spoke out to whatever sites I must when gear needs my attention.
