Shite or Shinola? How would it work with a shotgun using traditional, wood furniture including a full stock?

The Colt Shotgun Back Scabbard
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

The comments are somewhat hysterical...
"One last mini-gripe: This is supposed to be TACTICAL, so why did Colt think it was a good idea to sew a bright white logo on the top of it?!? At least surround it with velcro so that we can cover it with a black patch or something!!!"
Because being black makes it tactical. Yup.

I have something similar to that for my Marlin Guide Gun, although it has two straps like a regular backpack instead of just the one. It works okay for circumstances where I am working outside and want to have my rifle on me. It will hold a pump shotgun also.

Meh, for me, but if you like it, use it.
Although I would add that to be truly tactical, it should be offered in flat, dark earth.

I reckon that's one downside to the "boonies" where your cabin is. Some of your "varmints" weight 800 lbs plus.Netpackrat wrote:I have something similar to that for my Marlin Guide Gun, although it has two straps like a regular backpack instead of just the one. Here, a .357 revolver with stiff loads will take care of most anything, four legged or two.

A few years back, I had one of them cross the driveway 10-15 yards away while I was outside loading up the Jeep to leave. It explained the thrashing in the brush I had heard from the outhouse a few minutes earlier.Termite wrote:I reckon that's one downside to the "boonies" where your cabin is. WHY are you using an OUTHOUSE when parked in the DRIVEWAY (why not just go inside the house)???Netpackrat wrote:A few years back, I had one of them cross the driveway 10-15 yards away while I was outside loading up the Jeep to leave. POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad
